Update on Negotiations.

Negotiations between Canada Post and the Association of Postal Officials


of Canada (APOC) are continuing. The parties returned to the table on


Monday, March 16, 2009 for two weeks of negotiations towards a new


collective agreement.





Negotiations were previously held November 17-28 and December 4-12,


2008, as well as January 12-23 and February 16-20, 2009.





Under the interest-based negotiations process, both parties work together


to find common ground on the key issues before them.





Updates will be provided on the progress of negotiations as the parties


continue discussions.
