June 13, 2010
June 13th, 2010 update about the reorganization
Dear Members,
Many of you have been receiving and hearing messages from your Managers, Directors and even GM's about what is going to occur with the deletion of positions within the bargaining unit and potential Buy-Out options.
You received the big picture at the conference call from Doug Jones/John Polak but nothing more. I want to state very clearly and unequivocally that these issues are still being discussed at the National Level and anyone who attempts to tell you otherwise once again confirms the lack of professionalism and respect prevalent within the management ranks of this company.
Conference calls continue to discuss with the National Representatives of CPC the final wording of a Memorandum of Agreement which will outline in writing the process and protections for all members impacted as a result of the deletions of our positions.
The next time someone from management attempts to tell you what is going to happen, politely tell them you'll wait for the Memorandum to be finalized. However, since they seem to always have the answer for everything, perhaps you can ask them how we're going to be a better company and team when a critical resource for the front-line has been eliminated?
François.
